Finally found pricing for BS Collaborate, aka BS Contact MU server. http://www.bitmanagement.de/documents/PriceList.en.pdf20k euros, a bit steep considering how much of the vrml side of it needs re-writing to make a proper chat client. Plus it makes blaxxun look cheap. I would considering buying it myself, but not for that much. About 10 times too much IMHO, unless it comes with a lot more code and documentation.

| ... f__k !!! That's hard pricing !!! And 30% disount for academic/non commercial licenses ... ... not long ago I did hear something about 1 € licenses for removing the logo ... ExitReality seems to be using a modifyied BS 6.x ... may be they did get a special price for the "old" version. (btw : Exit does not follow the no_cache directive, does BS ?) Anyway, reading about that 20.000 € license spoils my interest for free servers. How is your stuff going, Fab? Peter _________________ everybody is a stranger almost everywhere

As for my own chat client and server, its still being worked on. But due to the circling sharks (aka Leaving Reality and Super Flux ) I won't be publicly posting details of what I'm working on. I had to buy myself a new computer to code on as the webserver was slowly killing it. Was getting hard to tell if slow down was code or just the server itself. Basically the server works, but I'm not ready to open it yet. Always something that needs to be added for a start.
