et ben dik donc .!! depuis ce matin j'ai croisé plus de 30 personnes différente et même a vouloir créé leur monde .!! c'est bien tout cela , de nouvaux mondes en vue , sens parlé vocalement , j'ai soifff a répondre a toutes les questions !

Flash is used for the text-based chat, and inside the worlds for viewing YouTube videos. You can also insert your own Flash animations inside the scene, but the Flash support provided by BSContact is unstable.

The server is written in Java.

I am not sure to have understood this sentence .. do you talk about the size of the 3D zone ?
It is 800px width, to be compatible with users equipment, and to help increasing the framerate ;-) And if we make the 3D zone larger, the with/height ratio will be of 2 / 1, I think it would be bad.
The spirit of Virgal is to be web-oriented, more than 3D-oriented.
If the 3D zone takes all the screen, it could disorient the users which are not 3D-addict and specialists.

The Flash support will (or should) boost your system. Congrats for that (and congrats to BS).

Yes, I was complaining about the size of the 3D zone, but not being aware of the difference between "web-oriented" and "3d-oriented" design.

Interesting topic, indeed. 3D and web ... there's still a large gap inbetween.

Anyway, it's appealing to be the most professional and straight forward approach to "alternative 3D chat" since years.

Si j'ai compris le truc c'est avec le FLV , mais en directe , celui-ci est néant .!! uniquement sur de la video qui passe dans le flash .

A propos du FLV et du broadcasting tour : je vais essayer de voir comment marche le truc vidéo sur le site où sera diffusée l'émission, il y aurait peut être moyen d'intégrer la transmission de l'émission en live dans un monde 3D ...
A propos de l'heure du truc, j'ai vu sur la home de ce forum que c'était à 20h40 ; perso je trouve ça un peu tard mais bon de toute façon il y aura aussi moyen de regarder l'émission le lendemain je suppose Wink

cela on sais déja le faire en iframe dans le wrl , avec un code html , et un code wrl !! j'ai un teste pour montré , seul soussi c'est quand la page du monde fait un rafresh c'est d'office activé !

Si tu parles d'IFRAME c'est que ta solution n'est pas en VRML pur, or c'est bien à ça que je pensais : voir l'émission en live sur une TV 3d dans un monde de Virgal

EDIT: mais je me complique trop la vie, que la vidéo soit dans la scène 3D ou à côté ou par dessus, l'important c'est de voir l'émission cool-blue

Mais le problème c'est le refresh sur une page mondes , quand on place une touche sensor play pour ouvrire ou stop pour fermer , si la page monde a un refresh ben cela s'active automatiquement et c'est chiant.!!

C'est déja a cause de sa que l'on a chercher mille et mille facon avec le flux video .!

about the flash we fighted a lot to have it in pure vrml

and not only embeded , Peugeot ,

on s'est fait chier pour l'avoir dans le vrml et pas seulement embeded

...et pas seulement dans BS ! mais aussi dans blaxx contact

....
