I am a bit ashame to have borrowed that idea , but I wanted to see if it could be done with a TimeSensor

eventually having it working with the real time ( of the puter for instance )

but that needs many lightmaps ,
and it takes me 1 day to get only 2 lool

May be the first time I saw lightmaps as pics , it was with the Chrysagon's tavern .
I always tought these images strange and beautiful .

I wanted to get that in 3D vrml .

I got some after years .Small ones .

Now I think that they are enought beautiful as images .
It is a way to show 3D in 2D LOL .
( more "seriously" ( ? lol ) I think they show the human and machine relationship , in a way , humm )

Fersen is too much kind with me to allow me to show some she did here :

As legloups had a nice tree in the last Petit Infographiste ,
I tried to enter it in 3DSMax , to make shadows .


1 - First problem : having the gifs leaves with the transparency !
( I tried too with pngs , but same prob .

2 - second prob , the Render to texture gives me flat shapes Sad





3 - I wonder if we could save gifs when Rendering to Texture the ground .
( to have the shadow moving )

I saw on some forums that it seems not , and tried avi but didnt succeeded .

After all that I used the sort of way Olivier Lunot - Tidus used in his Park for JOI .

I added a flat shape with a gif for the shadows .

May be better and easier if it is well scaled .

Ah pour tes ombres, il faut rajouter la couche alpha sous 3DS, comme ça tu auras les ombres de toutes tes feuilles Wink
