Preloader

I tried the preloader from

http://christler.cedric.free.fr/test/Tutorial_Prechargement_de_Texture.PDF


with a wrl of 1.7 MO

http://mixed3d.free.fr/terrier/no_cache/preloader/bigwoman7.wrl

and an image of 1.4 MO

I wonder why I dont see the blue bar increasing

have you it ??

I just see the loading gif

If you put debug TRUE in DEF loader C3D_ResourceLoader you will get some feedback from the script in the console :

At the other hand, loading twice the same ressource will not allow to see any loading-bar :

0% shows before loading
50% and 100% will be reached simulatneously when the ressource is downloaded the first time (no_cache does not help in this case).

a bigwoman , then a bigwoman2 , then a bigwoman3 etc , and
I am too quick as always , and I make always mistakes


In october 2004 I have read , about my stuff

and at that moment I felt that is was a 'compliment' , now I am less sure LOL

And yes at that time I was not used to take a look at the console

hey , you know what ?

I work on that because I work "for"/with my friend Jean-Yves ,

and as he has very beautiful paintings ,

if we want to show them as huge files ,
it could be good to have this preloader


Btw the preloader is just a way to wait ,

but people could clean the plates during that time ,
or have a drink
