Yes Alain, seems you can sell a sh-t with the proper marketing.

I wonder what they were thinking in when they called it VRML97. In 2 or 3 years, it seemed something outdated. And even today, people keep on studying things like COBOL or Fortran or Pascal and nobody says they're outdated, even though these are languages that are more than 20 years old.

I am not a technician , as you know ,
so I am not looking each day at what is more uptated than the day before ..

But in an other hand , take a look at what is a bit better ...
All that intro , to say that bitmanagement seems upgrading their viewer with nice tricks ,

and blaxx doesnt ..

and we have still the silly logo problem on BS ...

I never understood why Bitmanagement still works on his viewer , and not Blaxx

is it just a money problem ? ( to pay developpers ? researches ? )

I meant that if people that use COBOL don't say t's outdated, why do people that use VRML???

About BS Contact... I was going to tell you why don't you buy the viewer, to remove the floating logo... then I went to their website and saw that it costs 300 EUROS!!! That's an exaggerated pricing!

I think that the problem with Bxx is that the programmer that did the platform left and did his own company: Bitmanagement (BSContact) and there must be some problem with the server author rights, so he can't make a worlds server.

I got news from web3d-fr , about the last release , I tested how to put youtube movies and some other nice stuff , and I told me :
I want that , I will pay for !

Then I took a look at the price and ...........I went back to blaxxun LOL !

Mr.Phillip's exhibition was cool. So sorry I only could stay there some minutes, but hope I'll be able to stay longer on next meeting.

VR4All is perfect place for meetings like this. You may also consider hosting some in ExitReality, which is bxx-based. ExitReality is a growing project and I think it will have many users in next months. So I created my chat there, and added a button to it in my sidebar.

MixED could do something similar, and that way you may get more promotion.
