other is really interesting. It's called

Softimage XSI 6 ModTool.
Made, of course, by Softimage, a very professional modeling progarm
for high end 3D movie animations, etc. It saves out also to .obj
files ( a fairly common 3D file convention) and also apparently to
Collada. Could be interesting when used with a Collada to VRML/X3D
converter (see

The
first (Shapeshop) seems to be pretty simple and straight-forward and
doesn't seem to take much power. The second, (Modtool) need ALOT of
juice to run. I am running them on a Quad-core machine with alot of
video power and 3 gig of ram, so I'm not sure how the second one
would run on a weaker machine. Probably would be best to check the
system requirements out carefully AS I said they are both free and
that alone should make them worth a look. I have installed them both
and will report more as I learn.

sinon je voix avec un autre... adm 64 et la c est la carte graphique qui commance a rendre lame depuis plusieur mois... ou que je doit configurer....bref...

cala a l'air super ce modeleur .. mais il faut un autre logiciel pour exporter en vrml ?

oui tu exporte en obj puis tu l importe dans blender pour finir tu exporte en WRL ... J ai pas encore essayer , mais la marche a suivre es ok !!!

mais ça marche que sur mon Xp et le planning du XP ets chargé LOL :

9 -11h ma femme joue à WOW ,

l'aprem les gamins se lèvent et se relaient jusq'a 4 h du mat ...

mon seul crénau de libre c'est 4-5h du mat jusqu'a 9h LOL

mais comme je suis pas dessus avant 7h , pfff

refait un petit essai rapide
