I'll start by looking at the vrml game worlds I made. At least I remember my reasons for making these.

The waterslide is the result of 3 different things I was working on at once. The first was code for a train to follow a spline path, the second was a paid art project which required some fancy animation code, the 3rd was some sample code I got from Holger and the Bitmanagement people.

Some day I plan to put some in world editing tools so people can design their own waterslides.


Find Crystals was created in just two weeks as my entry for the Eurographics 2002 web3d game competition, shame I missed out on third place though scratch


The Cave Adventure game was made as an experiment into RPG type games using vrml.


The dalek game was simply an practical demostration of a bot proto I made.


Mine Sweeper was my was my form of protest against minefields, play it and you won't like mines at all affraid

I hope you agree that I "used" some pics , it is a way to try to catch some pupils here , lol , they are so afraid by english .....
I dont know if I will succeed to have this vrmlworlds thread alive , mixing ppl very different in ages and tastes etc , but I try lol ......so re thanx !

Waterslide est le résultat de 3 choses différentessur lesquelles j'ai travaillé .

lol I worked hard to translate all that , ( but I am very proud to have this LouiseForum with so good and nice builders in , .........you know that lol I guess Smile ....)

so just after I jumped on the sequencer ......( as a present after my hard work lol ) argggggggggg link broken !!!!! grrrrrrr lol Smile

I keep forgetting to remove that link. The PROTOs need to be remade and I need some proper examples etc. Still I can email you the files if you want to play around with something Wink

Yes because for me your are one of the greatest builder of blaxxun Smile So you have to know that it's very difficult for me to understand everything you say, since I am french, so when there are some technical words, I am lost Smile And it also very difficult for me to said something about your works !! Sad Hummm but I have a first question for you, I didn't look at the code of your worlds, but I think that you know how to program scripts, do you ?

I will have other questions later, let me the time to learn more about you and your style of building Wink

Yes I know how to program Scripts, I even wrote a few tutorials on creating scripts etc. Perhaps I should arrange someone to translate them.... hmmmm

Oh and I also have trouble with technical terms sometimes, Blaxxun's documents may be in english but that doesn't make them much easier to read even for me.

I just added another world, this used to be part of oddessey, but someone deleted it. I can't see it being re-installed anytime soon as the replacement world was deleted also What the fuck ?!? .

Try out the entrance door and the elevator's red buttons. The traffic lights are also a little bit of fun coding with protos.

I'm still to create a proper thumbnail for it, have to use contact 5 to avoid the water mark Rolling Eyes
