Rick, le développeur de VNET+, est sur le point de sortir une nouvelle verison de son Chat 3D : ABNet. Les principes restent les mêmes (Viewer VRML + Applet JAVA coté client), mais ABNet possède plusieurs avantages par rapport à VNET+ : L’applet JAVA, plus légère, est comptatible avec les VM de IBM, de Microsoft et de SUN, l’interface de Chat est en HTML, ce qui la rend entièrement personnalisable, le viewer VRML peut être soit Contact, soit Cortona, Bien d’autres fonctions (Ignorer, faire face, Message "Away" ect.) ont été ajoutées.
