Flux Studio can import 3ds files, as can many other 3d apps. ISB uses 3ds format for its prebuilt objects.

The files have a few different licences applied to them, but I found its either non commercial or share alike.

hummm I got a motorbike from Dassault ,
it was 3MO ,
then I exported to vrml , with 3DExploration , I got 15 MO LOL
then I imported it in Spazz , re exported ..I got 8 MO pffffffffff

btw it was well done , 3DS made

I must look forward if Dassault will set up a multiuser thing LOL
