My personal opinion, is that 'SL' will has not long life. Using Blaxxun, is posible to make complex worlds and avatars, too, but users must has good computers.
Peoples run away from VRML or X3D, but future is of these technologies ! For what I say these words ? Because the game is a game and a 3d community place is ather thing. Who want games will use computers for games, and who want meeting will use common computers.

Who visit 'SL' ? And who use common chats ? Where are more users ? Ofcuorse on IRC, XAT and on VRML based chats. Sorry for 'Active Worlds' but they has a much complex mechanism ... I'm sure that exist more blaxx communities, but there still unkown yet, probably because they don't want to be known by many peoples.
