Autour les 1000th - 1300 seicles, ce civilization c'etait possiblement le plus violent sur le monde, une decapitation apres une autre, comme les sacrifices pour ses dieus. Neomoins, ses scholars ont formulate une calendar tres tres mathematique usant le soliel, les planets, et les stars -- tres tres advance mysteriusement. D'espirit d'art etais remarkable aussi.

C'est recommde qu'on louer ou acheter un copy de la film "Apocalypto" par Mel Gibson de voir son depiction de l'art Mayan.

Bientot, je vais adjouter des captions dans ces films pour l'usage d'educationale.

btw, comme vous (comme le reste de la monde), I also knew nothing about this civilizatioin. Profondement, s'est a cas de ces batiments etaient cache dans les forets de Mexique, Guatamala, et Honduras jusqu'a les 1970s. Comme toi, depuis ca, j'engagait trop fortement avec les concernes autres depuis ca.

1. J'etudais un peux de la civilization Thailaindaise quand j'etait un professeur d'Anglais la bas pour 4 annees.

2. Prochaine, j'etudais un peux de la civilization de l'Indienne Nord Amerique quand j'etais un professeur avec lieux en isolation chez deux environs (La Cote Ouest et les Plaines Centrales) pour 10 annees.

J'ai trouve que je sen comfortable estrangement avec les Maya modernes et avec Mexique en general-- je regret que je n'avais jaimais habiter en la Peninsule Yucatan.

Il sen comme un progression naturale pour moi.
