Hello DwD

I am late in welcoming you because I don't really know what to say.

My 2 years of showcasing worlds in the blaxxun Outers were inspired in part by VSS, particularly Music Box and The Keep.

And, I associate your name with some rare appearances that you made (moreso in the first year), during which I had no idea that you were the author of those worlds.

So, just how does one address "the Old Gods" (of the Virtual Solar System)? How does one "welcome" them?

It is a cosmic mystery to me.

After thinking about it, I guess I might owe you a debt of gratitude. "Thank you", I guess, is in order here!

Somebody know why and if it'll come back ?
I was very fond of somes of these worlds and have some stuff in the members'space ..

J'ai parfois demandé des nouvelles sur blaxx mais j'en ai pas obtenues .

I could say that they were , as many of us , the first worlds I saw on blaxx ,
and I spent many hours learning vrml from them ....

Hope they will come back ...
And I hope that DWD is fine .....(?)

By the way , I have many of these worlds on my CDs , dont know it I could host them one day ....

The official reason from Dwd himself is ... *crickets chirping* so...

All I have is what Rick (DwD was using abnet server) said, which was DwD was going to close the server down when it breaks next. Was taking up too much time to repair/re-install and the hardware was wearing out too.

I have copies of a couple of worlds I found interesting, the one with weather effects and one experimental one DwD made with a drivable MU boat.

ps : when I jumped into blaxxun , it was after 4 years with Unreal Editor ,

I first met DWD , and argggggggggg !!!!!!! )

I asked him if it was inspired from Unreal , of course it was !

Yeras later I saw Ancient Tree , but it is another different "story" ......

LOL yes thats the correct translation, if you can hear crickets it means there is no other sound.

I have good news about DwD ,

I just met him on blaxx , and he is working on a sort of new VSS ...
if I understood well ......
