Hello, hello ....

I must say ... I'm getting jealous about "Fab's" worldlist up there

It's a nice thing ! .... no .... it's two nice things .... noooo .... it's three nice things !!!!!!

1) It's a showcase for builders using Fab's VP 3D chat

2) It's a usefull information, for knowing which worlds are being visited

3) It provides some links for trying out Fab's fabulous chat server

Well, i'm comming back from a smalltalk with Isa, Omind and Alain on N3DME, and there I asked her, if I could link to some of her worlds from within my 3d-check list. She did agree. But, my page would need some code/face lifting before ... and also Louise is much more visited ...

ATTENTION : all these worlds, inside the chat, have lost their background and the initial viewpoint. I'm working on that problem.

I will convert this naked links into clickable images, as soon as I have some, and as soon as somebody tell's me how to do it here inside the forum.

YOU could also easily link you'r own wrl-world into the chat ! Just see where Isa's wrls are placed inside the links if you don't find the way ... send me a private message, here on the forum (it's free for babies, kids, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, granmas, granpas, sons, daughters).

That was an idea I had too (about the initial Viewpoints)-- I still sick so I can't run a simple test on one or two or both ways.

1. First, your host worlds (files containing the chat "node") might be uploaded containing no VIewpoint, so that the entry proximity might fall to the guest world that it "imports".

2. I saw that your php file writes the url of the guest world into a new url (instead of inlining it as I could only imagine ) I find Inlining a proto especially (ie. multitexturing "backgrounds") can prevent it from cancelling others off on occasion. So, a short, simple Inline file might be used as a "buffer" by the guest (with or without a 0 0 0 viewpoint)-- the Inline being to the guest world.

You can experinent with number 1 & 2
I can experiment with number 2
Perhaps both methods might work together.

But right now I still have gastroenteritus (all of Montreal has it says my pharmacist). I am still in bed for 1 or 2 more days.

Thank's for the ideas for debugging.

The hosted world is being inlined, indeed. Just the url to be inlined is passed inside the query string. I will fix that problem this weekend, so help me God.

I was going back to sleep when I realized that one can implant into the guest file a proximity sensor anchor at 0 0 0 set to immediately beam the visitor to the preferred entry location. Will try that today.

how i do for not change the viewer and go to chat with sound ???

bon en fait j'ai remis le viewer ...

ca avant je le voyais pas il fallait que j'ouvre une autre fenetre IE

maintenant je clique et ca ouvre de suite donc ca roule merci ce probleme est réglé ...

Votre rendition de la ferme c'est terrifique, mais je regret que cette functionne de Google c'est dependant sur Win XP ou quel que chose comme ca, pas Win 98. Je suppos il faut on comme moi de Googler les environs via l'Internet et de visiter la ferme en personne.
