I must say that I dont 'find' most users of cyworx-board, they find it when searching more detailed info in 3D-chat systems and people who are on the same questions.
And right, cyworx-board is a bit technical, cause most users on cyworx board are developers yet or people who run own servers. And of course, beyond the nice 3D surface, it's 'techincal all! (shh dont tell that!)
I belive on cyworx most users are not mainly world builders, but mainly 3D chat-server developers, coders who agreed the idea that it makes sense, to exchange ideas between their projects and make infos more open to public. People who dont like to be on the merci of blaxxun-server (which costs very much if you try to run one yourself), or if they feel things should/could be made better, with a hand on the source.
After all, I like if cyworx-board is a good info resource about 3d-chat tech and that's it's main purpose if I can help it.

that brings me again to the point that I really could need some HELP:
piratez will be 'shared' soon, wich means you can real play sailship battles on it!!
Thus this is much more to code and this needs extensive tests,
so I could need some beta-testers!

Also I have plans to add french, spain, dutch language-stuff cause this was
(besides english) the nations on piratez-main.

Is there anyone around interested seriously to help with that?

I definitely am interested in your work, Herm.

But, I am afraid I can't schedule any beta battles with anyone on this side of the pond (N. AMERICA).

I have an honours masters university student friend here whom I shall approach tomorrow night about it. However, he is wrapped up in his choices and studies, so is already reluctant to use blaxxun.

I too am involved for a few days, so that's about the best I can do for now.

Otherwise. I will "catch as catch can" whatever wrl or contact.htm you might care to list or post when ready.

And maybe I'll "get lucky."

I can imagine trying to manouver my ship into position against an experience gamer could almost be impossible at that slow speed. Therefore, I might suggest stronger winds and more rocks / reefs / islands-- even random ships (ie. obstacles at first beyond "visibilityRange") .

here are my plans:
I could need wav files with the different comands one would give on a pirate ship to include in the wrl!
In all languages of the pirate main, like there are: in french, spain, english, dutch, also
guess I could need them in male and female versions, cause there was female piratez too

what would you say 'fire the cannons'?, 'set sail'?, 'hard steerboard'? 'load the cannons'?
