The server does not have to run from your computer tutancamon but like any server it has to run from a computer somehwere Yes sir. But I use free sites, without pay none money. I don't wont to buy none web spaces, but I wont to use web spaces. And You know, not all free sites has SQL for free. => necesity for VRML Server Emulators, who don't have SQL, ports and sokets.
Sir, VRML Server Emulators are the future's servers, this servers will be very popular for VRML users.
Peter and X, have the first VRML Server Emulator from all the world. They are pioneers on this kind of servers class.
Well, sorry, my AMD Duron computer is not so good for Your server/client package.

- Hi,
one day it could happen, that I post something in my favourite gardening forum, and Tutancamon answeres in the next posting "I need your , Peter".
In order to avoid this, I have decided to join Tutancamon's forum, and open this topic. Let us see if we can set up a fabulous -based 3D chat in a colaborative way here, or if this turns into my new favourite "Gardening Forum".
So, let's start the topic : There are 100 ways to a based 3D Chat here.
Let me say in advance : I will not give away any of the code running on my actual servers, for the same reason why I am not going to the supermarket being naked....
We will do a simple and easy vrml chat-server from scratch, and we will do it in a collaborative way or we won't do it at all. There's no hurry. Ok?
To be continued.

Must be used an hoste P H P or ASP engine language. And If You wont, also, using only VBScript or only JavaScript ... And ofcuorse, the world must be empty. And use the blaxxun kind of avatars, not cortona or ather kinds ... .... And when I open a 8 instanes, I wont to se 7 avatars of me. You know, 8 is maximum number of player instaces. Also, ofcuorse, when another users, from another computers, visit my world, must see their avatars. The world may be on my computer or on an web site hoste ... I repeat, without sql and sokets ( ports ), just using the hostes engine language ( ASP or P H P ). Will be wonderfule if You can make the routine also using only VBScript and only JavaScript ...
And, welcome in this forum about VRML Servers technology

| Try this : Go to the folder where you have extracted seamless3d to, and erase all the *.smls files. I had a similar problem after clicking the wrong button while exiting t5he chat : the file is saved, and loaded as default when you run the program again. Good luck. | |

Seamless3d\Application Data For Seamless3d\undoCache\ ntzt ... not work ! And now, probably the Thyeme's server is not on line ... ... I try also to use the server from Thyeme, but I don't know to set this server. I put this server in IIS web server root (wwwroot ), I start the web sever, then the Thyeme chat server, I change IP on 'test_mu.smls' to my Ip, but also, the chat not work. I fact 'seamless3d.exe' not work an all in this case ... ... I use 'Zone Alarm' firewall, and this is posible to restrict a few functions of Thyeme application ... I don't know ... ! But my firewall is extremaly important for my computer's work on internet, ... and I'll don't shutdown this protection ... Anyway, 'seamless3d.exe' is enteresting, but has a lot of bugs and is not easy to use; more good is 'Dune'. And ofcuorse 'Blender'. The best is '3D Max' For Virtual Reality colaborative computers, exist an good and free 3D operating sistem, an american software . I try this product and is cool . And for 3D chating exist a lot of free and good products ... You know, ours 'Platform 7', 'ABNet', '3DME' and athers ... .

scuse , I am not a teacher , lOL , but I am not sure if to embed all is a good idea .. for several reasons .. by the way this old post is nice ..... OK boss ! Now is without iframe. Yes is from 2005, but is still available. That yougoslavian (croatian) vrml server is free. Is enteresting ... in this moments I study this serious vrml server. Unfortunately use more JAVA, and that 'TOMCat' ? What is with that tomcat ? ... I continue to read the server's documentation. .

| Got this from the Cyworx forum "With a little file tampering with Blaxxun's site can be made to live again. For those who remember we had to do the same thing last year too.
Open the 'hosts' file with whatever editor you like, I used 'wordpad' (c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts on my PC), and add the following two entries:
80.190.134.206 www.blaxxun.com 80.190.134.206 developer.blaxxun.com"
It does work, had to do it last year. I forgot about this little trick
