Yes, I support this statement.

You might know, I work as a software developer/tester for a vendor of GSM equipment (for railroad operators).

I did my best to convince our leaders to integrate 3D collaboration servers with telecom equipment (wouldn't it be nice to rent a 3D chat room on a collaboration server for let's say 5 to 10 people in a multiuser scene for let's say 15 EUR / month ? Providing your own game/scene for a small group of users?)

However, according to our leaders it's at least 5 to 10 years, before "Virtual Worlds" will be an interesting topic for us. Some Internet companies should do this earlier .

And not to forget: there exist a lot of multiuser servers already, all having their specific advantages and disadvantages.

Here we are talking explicitely about BS Collaborate

Btw.: I think Santa Clause hides at the Northpole today, because of all this noise with the fireworks

My project is still in pre-alpha status, therefore I use the test version of BS Collaborate.

When (if) my project proceeds to alpha status, I guess then I will contact them and ask, if they have a version restricted to let's say 5 to 10 users for substantially less than 20.000 EUR. I just did not ask yet, but maybe they have a solution for the problem.

Best would be, if there were somebody who bought a full version of BS Collaborate and rented a part of the server (a "chat room" for 5 to 10 users) to me on a monthly rate basis. Maybe somebody like this already exist, I just did not search yet.

Hi, just a few words about SrrTrains.

In summer 2014 I deleted the blogs simulrr.wordpress.com and smuos.wordpress.com.

Now the project is what I call "hibernating".

I updated the web presence.

Now the official "Hibernating Page" is at http://letztersein.wordpress.com/srrtrains-v0-01/.

If the project will pass the "hibernation phase" (which is not consolidated yet), then the official "Home of SrrTrains" will take over in some future at: http://members.chello.at/christoph.valentin.
