Here are some POV-Ray traced images of my World War 1 Albatros I have been working on for the last few days for my upcoming movie:

I had to work for school about IrstWW, with my pupils.
In the same time and by hazard you told me what you were doing.
So I decided to show to my pupils "Pipes of peace" and 4 parts of Kubricks's "Path of Glory".

What is strange is that :

Our minister for the war veterans, awarded Mr Chapelant the mention " Died for France ".
The announcement was made on Friday, November 9th, two days before the remembrance of the armistice of 1918.

The choice of Chapelant is not fortuitous.
About 650 French soldiers shot in 1914-18 having been condemned by councils of war for desertion, mutiny,
refusal of obedience or crime of common law, it is indeed one of the most famous,
and it for two reasons.
The first one is that it was one of the rare officers to have been killed .
The second is that the circumstances of his death - an execution on a stretcher - durably marked the spirits:
The story of Chapelant inspired Humphrey Cobb for its novel
"Path to glory", from what Kubrick made his movie.

Yes your welcome to use my avatar Jicer, did you import it into flux studio after exporting from seamless in HAnim format? Flux can import HAnim format but does not allow you to edit HAnim, just the mesh it contains to my understanding. If you want it so it will open animated in blaxxun contact you will need to export it as ContactSBVT (set by vertex transform (same as what blaxxun avatar studio avatars use)). Only Bitmanagement contact 6 up (possibly only 7 up because of a bug) can utilize HAnim.

Thanks for the interesting info on Mr Chapelant Alain, unfortunately I cant find much info on him online in English but will try to find out more. I found the full movie “Paths of Glory” on youtube yesterday, I have only watched the beginning so far. Yes I understand its an awkward thing to say its a “nice” model when this Albatros is a machine designed for war. It was easier when I was a child to admire how war planes looked when I had a simplified and glorified understanding of the two world wars and when I loved making plastic and balsa wood model planes. I still think the Albatros plane looks beautiful but any image of war technology repulses me too these days knowing what I now know. It is sad to think these planes were developed for war only a few years after Louis Blériot crossed the English channel in 1909 which was only a few years after the Wright brothers first aeroplane flight in 1903.

I discovered 2 years ago that Blériot started from a beach near Calais.
It is a place where many illegal refugees came, these last years , and still come, from Kosovo and Afghanistan etc ,
to try to go to England.
Now when I hear Blériot , I remember that , but it is not his fault LOL.

Also I discovered that Lindbergh became a pro -Hitler , and here it is his fault , LOL
